Remove a nude or sexual image of me

If there is a nude or sexual image or video of you on a Cureate board and you did not agree to it being there, ask us and we will take it down. You do not need an account, and you do not need to know who posted it.

What we do, and how fast

We act on a valid request within 48 hours of receiving it. That is the deadline the TAKE IT DOWN Act sets, and we track every request against it. We take down the board it is on. When we can tell which file on that board is the image you told us about, Cureate also stops serving that file and every identical copy of it, and we take down every other board on Cureate that shows one.

There is no appeal process for this, unlike a copyright takedown. If you tell us a sexual image of you is up without your consent, it comes down.

Please do not send us the image

Telling us where it is on the board is all we need, and it is the safer thing for you: an attachment would mean another copy of it in another inbox.

Cureate is a small service and this form is not an emergency line. In the United States, the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative runs a crisis helpline on 844-878-2274, and NCMEC's Take It Down can help get an image removed from many services at once if you were under 18 when it was taken.
